Ministry to the Sick and Elderly

Holy Communion for the Sick/Homebound
Jeanette Bruno & Father Mark W. Crane
(732) 446-6661
At St. Thomas More we have a number of parishioners who are homebound because of age or illness. Because of their condition they cannot attend Sunday Mass but they still would like to have someone visit them and bring them Communion. Certain Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion provide this service. To be considered for this important ministry, contact the pastor.

Hospital and Nursing Home Ministry

One of the corporeal works of mercy is to visit the sick. At. St. Thomas More we do more than that. We are the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus. Every Tuesday morning we take His Precious Body to our sick brothers and sisters at Centrastate Hospital and Liberty Manor. On Thursday mornings we visit Applewood Manor. There are additional facilities we should visit but we need additional people. Certain Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion provide this service. To be considered for this important ministry, contact the pastor.
