Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is composed of 12 lay members of the parish who give advice to the pastor. They are men and women, married and single, young and old and represent a cross section of the parish. They are chosen by the pastor and work in collaboration with him to build up the life of the parish. They meet every 6 weeks to discuss areas of interest or concern.
They also oversee the Uganda Partnership with St. Joseph Parish in Katikamu, Uganda; including the Ugandan Educational Sponsorship of the Schools of St. Joseph Primary and St. Kizito Secondary. An example of some matters recently intiated by the Council are the hiring of a youth minister and Parish Missions.
