HOLY WEEK IS ALMOST HERE and we are looking for Altar servers. If your Child would like to volunteer to be on the schedule as an Altar Server for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday or Easter Sunday, please click on the Holy Week Server schedule in the Parish Quick Links box below to view the openings that are currently available. You may contact Matt Nicosia via email at info@moremercy.org or, call him at (732) 972-5352 to have your child added to the schedule. The schedule will be updated daily so you can see what positions remain open.

REMINDER: St. Thomas More Church Altar Server Training - On Tuesday, March 9th at 7:30 PM there will be an altar server training session for St. Thomas More Church. You must be at least 9 years old to be eligible. It is not necessary to sign up for this training. Just show up promptly at 7:30 PM. You can download the application from the "parish quick links" box below. Please complete the application and bring it with you. Parents are welcome to attend or drop off/pick up their children. Each session should last approximately 1 hour.
Parish Prayer Chain – Our Parish has a prayer chain of over 30 members. Some are current members of our parish and others have moved to other parts of the country, but still keep active in this ministry. We have received prayer requests from all over the world. Please call (732)446-2371 if you have a need for prayers for any situation. Alternatively, you may send your prayer request via email to prayerrequests@moremercy.org. If you do not want your name known, it will be kept confidential. The head of this Ministry is Deacon Jim Davis.

Holy Hour will take place on the first Friday of each month.(except during Lent, when Stations of the Cross are offered). The Holy Hour will be held at St. Thomas More Church from 7:30PM to 8:30PM. During the hour we will celebrate evening prayer (Liturgy of the Hours) and benediction with at least 30 minutes for quiet prayer time with our Eucharistic Lord. The next Holy Hour of Prayer will be Friday, May 7, 2010. Anyone who is interested in a Bible Study on Tuesday Evenings should Call (732)446-2371 and give name and phone number.
