St. Thomas More Parish is proud to offer a women’s bible study group. Here is the Calendar & Syllabus.

The 2017-2018 program will meet for 22 weeks beginning Tuesday, September 26th at 10 a.m. The program aims to bring women to a closer relationship with Christ.

Personal study and small group discussions at WWP each week link our everyday challenges with the solutions given to use through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.

The Honor Prayer: Heavenly Father, Be with us today as we gather to learn from Your word. Give us the courage to take off our masks and to be our authentic selves. Help us to keep each other's confidences. Teach us to communicate in respectful ways and to offer each other the same grace that you give us each day. Bring hope as we encourage each other along our individual paths. Make this a place of welcome where there is always room for one more at the table.

Open our hearts that we may love each other as you have loved us.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

Prayer Chain
Deacon Jim Davis
(732) 446-2371

The prayer chain has 25 members. Some members lived in the parish and have moved away, yet continue to serve the Lord in this way. People call in concerns to a central number. These are then passed on to members. Periodically, a hard copy of the revised prayer chain is mailed to members. Included in this mailing is usually some reflection or suggested prayer for a concern such as some current issue such as elections or flood victims and ongoing issues such as abortion and world peace. Calls and prayer requests have been received from all over this country and even a few from Europe and the Mid East. This chain is open to more people. It is suggested that any interested parties contact Deacon Jim Davis at the number listed above.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
(A program for Teens and Children as well)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process of formation and prayer leading to the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and/or Confirmation for those seeking full initiation into the Catholic Church. Formation sessions are conducted by clergy and a team of RCIA catechists. Participants are encouraged to share and grow in their faith and relationship to Christ and His Church through understanding of the Catholic traditions, Scripture and the active ministries of our parish community.

A separate RCIA process is also available for children ages 7 to 12 and teens who have not had previous religious education.
